Congress May Probe Leaked Global Warming E-Mails by a CBS blogger

Well it's sure looking more and more like this was an authentic story:

I found this:
From: "Mick Kelly" m.kelly@xxxxxxxxx.xxx

Mike and Tim
Notes from the meeting with Shell International attached.
Sorry about the delay.
I suspect that the climate change team in Shell International is probably
the best route through to funding from elsewhere in the organisation
including the foundation as they seem to have good access to the top
levels.

It's an "authentic story" however...
Global Warming is a Game which is no longer justifiable.

If we assume that the leaks were authentic and accurate, nothing will change.

The US Congress depends on the perception of infallibility. First will be a review of the data, reevaluation and then a period of time before new peer reviews will be published. The public will forget.

Then, within a couple of weeks, Congress will take up the matter of computer security.

This will be contained before it can be moved into the tort process.

Contain, control and confuse. Just slap a fresh coat of paint on it and repackage. The masses get easily confused once you put lipstick on the pig.

I found 2 places to download the original FOI2009.zip (62MB) file released:
1. http://rapidshare.com/files/309710046/FOI2009.zip
2. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=003LKN94
Both sites have a paid and free option.
