WISE guys and gals

seven new mouths to feed
Osa is a very good mommy!
one of the 2 pups that resemble daddy

Spent the past week learning (what little there is) about our Community Revenue Sharing program, after the Kenny Lake Community League rejected my proposal last Tuesday to upgrade kennylake.com to include a community toolbox, classifieds and visitor information.

Billy Williams, owner of Grizzly Pizza, member of the Copper Valley Chamber of Commerce, said the Chamber should be the one building the website for the community. Williams has received $16,500 for his Tonsina Agricultural Project over the past 4 years (The Chamber of Commerce got $3000 in 2009 - what did they do with that money I wonder.)
http://www.alaskaconservationdistricts.org/programs/agriculture.htm

Paul Boos (the same WISE guy who wrote the snarky editiorial about me in the local paper last December) wondered at my "credentials." Yet it was his girlfriend, Janele Eklund, the president of WISE, who tried to enlist me to work on WISE's website after I finished kennylake.com for her buddy Sharon Forster in 2007. I told them then I don't work for communitarian non-profits.

My proposal was the only one rejected by the group. I sent an email complaint on Wednesday to the State of Alaska but the office hasn't responded.

I learned about this revenue sharing program 2 days before the dispersal meeting from a neighbor who brought me a copy of the notice in the CRR. He later emailed me a copy of his letter to the governor and the attorney general for the State of Alaska. I don't think anyone's responded to him yet either. His reference to "conspiracy theory nonsense" is directed at me and my work, and while it distances his complaint from people like me who are vilified for spending thousands of volunteer hours researching these groups, it also shows the level of arrogance and ignorance our most educated people must use to communicate with government officials.
As of Sunday, 9 May, I was informed that a revenue sharing meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, 11 May. I checked the two most prominent bulletin boards in Kenny Lake for further information. These were the community well and Wenger's Country Store which is the largest business in the area and has a large bulletin board. No mention on either. I contacted Tara Jollie at Community Regional Affairs Sunday regarding this on via email.

I was under the impression that State of Alaska regulations required posting a notice in three prominent locations three days prior to the meeting.

On Monday, I rode my bicycle to the other store, Kenny Lake Merchantile, and to the Golden Spruce Expresso to check for postings. None were posted and the owner of Golden Spruce told me no notice had been posted. Again on Monday,10 May, I again contacted Tara Jollie via email.

I have found notice in the local paper that I had to purchase. I was dismayed to see that the notice had the following prerequisite: Public-serving organizations please bring your requests at that time. There is a simple application process for these state funds. Recieving orgs do not
have to be 501c, but funds must serve a public need. The role of the League is to distribute the funds and report to the State what the funds were used for.

On the surface, this procedure appears innocuous. However, careful reading of this will reveal that only organizations be afforded any opportunity to request funding.

As of Monday evening, I was informed that the Kenny Lake Community League maintained an limitted email list and those who desired notification of the meeting recieved such. Those who neither have email or are unwilling to share their email addresses were not notified of the meeting.

It would appear that the notification of this meeting was outside of the regulations and there is a concerted effort to deny the public process. In the same newspaper, Copper River Record, 6 May 2010, on page 16, Gay Wellman has been extensively involved with a select group of local
organizations: President of the Kenny Lake Community League, Chairman of the Kenny Lake Library, founder and board member of the Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment, active member of the Copper Country Alliance and the Wellwood Council.

I'm not prone to conspiracy theory nonsense, but the lack of public notification for the meeting coupled with heavy involvement by Ms Wellman in select organizations could certainly be fodder for the conspiracy theorists.

When the affiliations by the other members of the Kenny Lake Community League board are factored in, the conspiracy theorists got my attention.

With our declining local, state and national economy, I would hope that the community prioritized any revenue sharing monies by placing the most essential services foremost. I have no dogs in this fight. I am subscribed to the Kenny Lake Community Well and I donate money to the library. I contend that the community decides where to distribute the funds, not the organizations.

I'm appealing to your administration to force the Kenny Lake Community League to follow the public process for the determination of revenue sharing disbursement. With the economic environment hitting every family across the nation and more specifically locally, any fuel added to the conspiracy theory arguments can't and won't come to any good. The people must have confidence in the public process. No matter what may come, as long as the people are notdisenfranchised, we can solve our problems as a community working together."
I checked into this and was told by the newly elected League treasurer (also the Merc owner) that anyone could apply for the money and we didn't need to be a 501c to qualify. My proposal was short and I emailed it to the president of the league a couple hours prior to the meeting. Gay Wellman's response email expressed how sorry she was that I didn't get my request, but that her and her WISE guy husband think I should build a website for the Community League (and she plans to bring that issue up at the next Board meeting on May 18).

Yesterday I got hard copies of the league's records from the treasurer back to 2007-8, (no idea when the program began) and it was no surprise to me to see that WISE has received a payment every year for the last four years. Most of the money went to legitimate community needs, (sort of anyway, I really don't see what $4000 to paint the library will do to help this community). But why is WISE such a high priority every year? They're number 5 on the list of beneficiaries, ranking above the EMS program and well above all the school sports programs. And now the WISE guys slipped a new idea into the budget; in addition to the Wellman's $4000 for WISE this year, the Wellman's Willow Creek Watershed Consortium got another $4500. The Wellmans received 15% of our community money this year, yet nothing they do benefits the community I live in, and it can be argued that what they do actually detracts from our community's economic base. Our community is very dependent on tourism and almost every roadside business needs tourist money to survive the winter. What kind of system pays for one family's tourist business and leaves every other tourist business to compete against the funded "favored" businesses?

The President of WISE, Janele Eklund, owns a tourism company called Copper River Country Tours which STARTS and ENDS its tours at the COPPER RIVER PRINCESS LODGE! Their website explains: "Copper River Country Nature Tours is featured on www.visitwildalaska.com and is a proud member of the Alaska Wilderness Recreation & Tourism Association, Alaska's leader in eco tourism and sustainable travel with a commitment to environmental protection and wildlife conservation." What is AWRTA? They're our "collective voice."
"The Alaska Wilderness Recreation & Tourism Association (AWRTA) is a members-driven trade association formed to be a collective voice for wilderness-dependent businesses. We advocate for the sustainability of Alaska's natural and cultural resources, responsible tourism and tourism planning for communities. View AWRTA's Ecotourism Guidelines to learn more. "
These are also the same WISE guys making the Copper River Country Stories Map, a tourist map that does not include ANY tourist businesses (besides theirs) out here. As is par for the course, they claim to be in a partnership with my community and claim they want our stories in their map. When I made the point that a map that doesn't show the tourists where gas, food and lodging is will not help the local tourist businesses, I was called a "conspiracy theorist." heh.

In the May 6 issue of the Copper River Record, Arlene Rosenkrans (DOA) wrote a glowing article about Gay Wellman being honored with the 2009 Donna Tollman Award. Arlene wrote:
"Gay serves as President of the Kenny Lake Community League and Chairman of the Kenny Lake Library Board. She is a founder and board member of Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment (WISE), which partners with CDVA (Copper Valley Development Association) on trail projects and environmental education programs. She is also an active member of Copper Country Alliance and the Wellwood Council and past president of the Kenny Lake School PTO. As a skilled group facilitator, she excels in bringing divergent peoples and opinions together to solve complex issues, bridging people, organizations and communities.

She and her husband David are local small business owners of the Wellwood B&B and share their home and community with visitors from around the world. They are willing sponsors and volunteers on many projects and events throughout the community. Every summer, the Wellman's host a One World Camp on their land, and camp attendees participate in a service project." (page 6, top half)
I can't find anything on the Wellwood Council. Nobody's heard of it. The Copper Country Alliance is connected to the big international ecotrust/ Copper River Watershed Project to establish a Citizen's Oversight of the Trans Alaska Pipeline (TAPS). One thing is certain, Gay Wellman is a "skilled group facilitator" who has no problem approving community funding for her privately owned "small business". Their One World Camp is probably connected to their School of the Earth, and it's interesting that Arlene left SoE off Gay's list of associations out here.

OhConsuelo sent me a link to Erica Carle's latest nwvs article on game theory, which is the link above to "skilled group facilitator." I found this article in their archives:

THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
IT'S POWER AND GOALS

By Erica Carle
June 5, 2002
NewsWithViews.com

Most people, including Chamber Of Commerce members, would be astonished to learn the extent of power that organization exerts over international , national, state and local policies. It is common knowledge that the Chamber has lobbyists in Washington and state legislatures, and that it is active in local communities. These activities are no secret. They can be noticed by the casual observer, and are expected by members. But there is a great deal more which must be understood in order to gain a concept of the real power of the Chamber of Commerce -- not only over commerce, education, religion, technology, industry, agriculture, transportation, medicine, communication, labor and government. To understand this power we have to look beyond the local communities to the Chamber's national and international activities, and to Chamber ties with other organizations, both governmental and non-governmental.

The Chamber Is Many Organizations

The Chamber of Commerce is not one, but many organizations. There are local Chambers of Commerce in thousands of communities. These are blanketed by the United States Chamber of Commerce, and since 1920, an International Chamber of Commerce. Once the United States Chamber of Commerce was set up, individual Chambers of Commerce all over the country were invited to join and allowed it to represent and inform them. Such invitations are usually eagerly accepted. No one likes to be left out, and most people like to feel they are part of a big, important group. Local Chambers joined, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce leaders were able to claim the right to make policy for many individual Chambers.

Gaining Power

The U.S. Chamber leaders suggested they had answers to many problems, the most important being the final answer to the problem of war. There is an almost-universal yearning for peace, so that was taken as good news. The home town folks knew they could not solve the problem, or enforce a universal acceptance. How wonderful, they thought, to be associated with those who claimed they could. (It often seems that the farther away from home policies are set on difficult problems, the easier it is to assume that those who are making decisions have all the right answers.) Home town common sense was abandoned for the sake of an unsupported philosophical dream.

The leaders of the U.S. and International Chambers must have known, even as they made the promise, that they did not have the ability to deliver on it, but they also knew that the mere promise would give them a hold on the emotions of many members of local and national Chambers, and of others who believed in universal solutions.

Another problem Chamber leaders claimed to be able to solve was that of hunger and poverty worldwide. The Chamber had one answer to both problems: "rational" world trade. Allow the trade of the whole world to be carried on under the Chamber's "rational" direction, rather than independently under the supervision of various governments; and the world's two most pressing problems would be solved. Two slogans were popularized in order to gain backing for Chamber leadership: "World peace through world trade," and "More business in government and less government in business."

A New Organization

The Chamber sought to commercialize the world under its own direction. To do this it needed to find ways to affect and bypass operating policies of various states and nations. To change national policies, and even laws, required popular support and collective action. An new type of blanket organization was needed, one that could blanket not only governments, but professions, unions, educational institutions, farms, industries, sciences, religions and even families. An organization was sought which could bring about the cooperation and commercialization of all of these. A strong controllable international blanket organization was needed.

Coalition For Change

By the 1930's plans for the new blanket organization to serve the Chamber's purposes, the United Nations, were already well under way. The Chamber had the cooperation of tax-exempt foundations, some of which, such as the Carnegie Foundation for International Peace and the Rockefeller Foundation, had been set up early in the century. Large banks and trusts could see future profits for themselves if they cooperated with the Chamber; and the cooperation of international corporations was assumed, especially since Thomas J. Watson, President of International Business Machines (IBM) was President of the International Chamber of Commerce and a trustee of the Carnegie Foundation for International Peace. University cooperation was no problem because there were many close ties, financial and otherwise, between the above groups and universities such as Harvard, Columbia, etc. University policy planners, economists, and sociologists were also eager to extend their influences and enlarge their campuses.

Wartime Planning

World War II aided, rather than hindered efforts to establish a "national" international commercial system. Chamber representatives from countries on both sides met and planned throughout the war. They were deciding how the world's resources ought to be controlled and divided after the shooting was over, and how to set up the United Nations. The United Nations organization could be used to gain governments' compliance with the Chamber's plans for a unified, controlled world economy, and also the cooperation of various non-governmental organizations.

The Organization Is Born

After the war was over, the system was ready to be put into operation. Through the efforts of the Chamber coalition the United Nations was born. And through the United Nations, the Chamber gained for the first time in history, a permanent vehicle for prescribing policy for governments. It is a crushing dominating type of power.

Economic And Social Council

How could the United Nations be used to increase Chamber of Commerce power and help the Chamber throw its blanket over other activities? It was done largely through what the Chamber regarded as the most important element in the United Nations Charter: the setting up of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Such a council was the one thing that had been lacking in the old League of Nations. But when the United Nations was set up, the Economic and Social Council opened the way for the Chamber to have direct and continuous influence upon international affairs, even though it was a non-governmental organization. The Economic and Social Council was placed beside the Security Council. George L. Ridgeway said in his Merchants of Peace: "...The world of economic and social enlightenment beside the world of force..." The important thing about the Economic and Social Council was that it made provision to include representatives from non-governmental organizations in its discussions. The Chamber of Commerce was immediately included as one of the most important advisory organizations.

Chamber Power With ECOSOC

With the birth of the United Nations, the Chamber had a vehicle subject to its influence, which could gather under its blanket not only governmental, but all types of professional and other non-governmental organizations. This put the Chamber of Commerce at the center of policy making for every governmental and non-governmental organization that is in any way associated with, or dominated by the United Nations.

Including representatives from non-governmental organizations in its deliberations may seem on the surface to be a way for the Economic and Social Council to learn the needs and wishes of the people, and to allow them to participate in policymaking decisions., but this is not the case. What most people do not understand is that the United Nations is not an open forum, offering opportunities for unlimited discussion on public matters. It is a goal-centered vehicle, dedicated to accomplishing the purpose for which it was founded: that of putting control of all the world's political, social and economic activities under one Chamber of Commerce-dominated blanket.

Goal-Centering Means Behavior Controlling

Because the United Nations is goal-centered, it is also a behavior controlling organization. Chamber coalition leaders know that those who set the goals for others control the behavior of others. Those who participate in the United Nations must support UN goals. Participants must dedicate themselves, their efforts, their personalities, and their resources to the United Nations. They must give up their individuality. The United Nations does not exist for the sake of individuals. From the United Nations point of view, individuals and groups exist for the sake of the United Nations. It is an organization of organizations, dealing only with groups. It works through groups - those groups which gain consultative status and which are recognized as worthy of participation in the Economic and Social Council.

Consultative Status

To gain consultative status with the Economic and Social Council organizations must:

1) Make application to the Economic and Social Council's Committee on Non-governmental Organizations.

2) Be willing to submit reports on its own operations and activities to the Economic and Social Council on a regular basis.

3) Be eligible for one of the categories set up for participation.

Categories Of Participation

Non-governmental organizations having consultative status with the Economic and Social Council are divided into three classifications:

Category I is for those organizations, such as the International Chamber of Commerce, that are closely involved in the economic and social life of the areas they represent, and which are said to have marked and sustained contributions to make to the achievements and objectives of the United Nations.

Category II is for those organizations, internationally known, having special competence in and specifically concerned with only a few of the fields of activity covered by the Council.

The Roster is for those organizations able to make occasional and useful contributions to the Council's work. In 1979, the most recent edition of the United Nations Yearbook which is available , 30 international organizations were listed in Category l; 206 organizations were listed in Category ll, and 357 organzations were on the Roster.

Organizations Included

Some of the organizations having status with the Economic and Social Council are organizations which have been in existence long before the United Nations was born. Others seem to have been concocted for the purpose of organizing people to serve the United Nations. The following were listed in 1979 in Category l, the most important Category: International Alliance of Women - Equal Rights, Equal Responsibilities; International Association of French-Speaking Parliamentarians, International Chamber of Commerce, International Confederation of Free Trade Unions; International Cooperative Alliance; International Council of Voluntary Agencies; International Council of Women; International Council on Social Welfare, International Federation of Agricultural Producers; International Federation of Business and Professional Women; International Organization for Standardization; International Organization of Consumers Unions; International Organization of Employers; International Planned Planned Parenthood Federation; International Social Security Association; International Union of Local Authorities; International Youth and Student Movement for the United Nations; Inter-Parliamentary Union; League of Red Cross Societies; Muslim World League; Organization of African Trade Union Unity; United Towns Organization; Women's International Democratic Federation; World Assembly of Youth; World Confederation of Labor; World Federation of Democratic Youth; World Federation of Trade Unions; World Federation of United Nations Associations; World Muslim Congress; World Veterans Federation.

Indirect Influence

One of the advantages the Chamber of Commerce is able to realize through United Nations is the advantage of anonymity. Policies it promotes do not have to bear the Chamber of Commerce label. They can be presented to governments as United Nations' policies. When the United States and local Chambers of Commerce support these policies, few of the local Chambers or their members are aware of the vital links between the Chamber and the United Nations, or that much of the legislation United Nations representatives suggest to national and state legislatures was actually originally brought to the United Nations by the Chamber of Commerce. The steps in the process that can be followed are:

(1) Planners, perhaps at a university or Chamber-supported think tank, develop legislation.

(2) The Chamber of Commerce accepts the legislation as in keeping with its goals.

(3) The Chamber of Commerce suggests it to the Economic and Social Council.

(4) The Economic and Social Council promotes it through the United Nations.

(5) The United Nations pressures someone in each national or state government to introduce the legislation in that area's legislature.

(6) The United States Chamber (and Chambers in other countries) suggest and/or pressure local Chambers to support the legislation.

(7) The National League of Cities, National Municipal League, U.S. Conference of Mayors, Association of Counties, National Governors' Conference, International City Managers' Association, Advisory Commission on Inter-Governmental Relations, Urban Action Clearinghouse, International Labor Organization, etc....add their weight.

(8) Local Chamber officials get instruction on how to "educate" their members to favor the policy or legislation.

(9) Chambers' paid lobbyists pressure legislatures for passage.

(10) Local Chambers work in communities for more support.

(11) Federal legislation is passed.

(12) Enabling legislation at state and other levels is passed.

Few members of local Chambers are aware of any but the last three or four steps. Even among those who know that local Chambers take positions on legislation, there are few among the members who know what position the Chamber lobbyists actually take on specific legislation.

Chamber-Supported Legislation And Policies

The Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber coalition have supported much legislation which has not only been extremely costly, but which has served to transfer power, responsibility and resources from independent nations, local communities, local businesses, and private professions to the universal system coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce coalition. It has supported measures harmful to many of its own members. The following are some of the measures the Chamber of Commerce has supported to aid in the transfer of power from individuals and independent governments, groups, businesses and professions to the Chamber-advocated management system:

(1) Creation of the United Nations.

(2) Creation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

(3) Regional government or "New Federalism."

(4) Medicare (Commercialization of medical professions.)

(5) Postal reorganization.

(6) Organized Crime Control Act.

(7) Contracting for school services with private industry.

(8) Voucher system for education.

(9) Management and human relations techniques for handling personnel in industry.

(10) Health care planning councils.

(11) Prepaid medical practice (HMOs).

(12) Federal land use planning.

(13) Federally-imposed career education.

(14) Equal Rights Amendment.

(15) Cross-town busing for desegregation.

These and many other measures have been, or will be, extremely costly. Yet, when the Chamber of Commerce calls for decreases in federal spending and speaks out about the costly federal bureaucracy, its sincerity is seldom questioned. Its goals and power are not well enough known and understood.

Use Of This Document

A single document, such as this, may not affect that Chamber of Commerce power, nor diminish the crushing effect of its system to a noticeable degree. But it may encourage some citizens, government officials, professionals, and perhaps even Chamber of Commerce members to look more closely, investigate more diligently, direct their own actions more intelligently, and respond more aggressively against efforts to diminish their personal responsibility and confound their independent judgment.

Lucifer worship - bringing humanity into the "light"

The "divine plan for humanity" is the reason for rebuilding the world into a communitarian collective. But when people ask me what the new global religion is, I'm always hesitant to define it for them. It's the hardest part of the entire Plan for me to explain. Not that any part of my neighborhood plan was easy to explain. I had no problem reading and discussing the legislation and congressional resolutions that authorized the Plan, because that was what I studied for 3 years in college. I did take classes in philosophy (Logic and Critical Thinking, CSUC, 1982 and Existentialism, UAA, 1983).

I never took any classes in religion. I don't attend church nor do I belong to any prayer groups. I'm not any kind of a preacher nor am I an ordained minister of any religion. I'm not Jewish, I'm not Muslim, I do not declare myself as a Bible believing Christian and my ACL research is not based on the Bible or any religious texts. My ACL work is about the changed American legal system I uncovered in Seattle, WA in 1999. I have backed up every part of my ACL argument with numerous credible and verifiable resources. I never used the Bible once to back up my claims. I really did think proving it was all part of the Devil's plot would be impossible without basing my argument on the Bible or some other religious text.

Maybe I thoght that because everyone else I ever found who identified the Plan as Luciferian quoted the Bible as their primary source for validity. I decided to leave that portion of exposing it to the preachers. As Edith Garner wrote in her last email diatribe against my gertee plans, my whole "problem" is I don't believe in the Bible. Gosh, I don't know why, but for some reason I still try to maintain the standards I was taught to follow as an investigative reporter.

Plus, come on, the truth sounds too much like a bad movie script (which is no accident either). So for years I skirted the whole religious aspect and left it to the people I believed were the ones who should be telling the truth about the new religion. But avoiding the truth only made it seem as if I don't know what the global religion is. Sometimes I do say "It's Gaia/Mother Earth" and can see the light of recognition in their eyes... because who hasn't heard of Earth Day by now?

I think I would have continued to avoid writing about the whole Satanic/Luciferian aspect of communitarianism, except for the fact that our local land management plan (The Kenny Lake Community Plan) includes scientific retraining of everyone in my community by a small group of Luciferian experts. It appears that the World Servers think that if they cloak Lucifer worship behind environmental science we won't notice the lie.

The ultimate vision of every communitarian programme for development includes educating us to accept Lucifer as our Lord. Just like the National Health Care programme and the new COPS' database that stores all our private information, this programme for our healthy human development is not optional, and, there will be criminal penalties for noncompliance. The Plan for peace and global prosperity does not include any dissenters. A perfect world cannot exist if some people think it's imperfect. The process for eliminating the dissenters is well underway. The laws for dealing with dissent were adopted by the US Congress under Bush I. in 1991 They're called the Seven Laws of Noah. http://www.auburn.edu/~allenkc/7laws.html
The Esoteric Meaning of Lucifer

There are comments on the World Wide Web claiming that the Lucis Trust was once called the Lucifer Trust. Such was never the case. However, for a brief period of two or three years in the early 1920’s, when Alice and Foster Bailey were beginning to publish the books published under her name, they named their fledgling publishing company “Lucifer Publishing Company”. By 1925 the name was changed to Lucis Publishing Company and has remained so ever since. Both “Lucifer” and “Lucis” come from the same word root, lucis being the Latin generative case meaning of light. The Baileys' reasons for choosing the original name are not known to us, but we can only surmise that they, like the great teacher H.P. Blavatsky, for whom they had enormous respect, sought to elicit a deeper understanding of the sacrifice made by Lucifer. Alice and Foster Bailey were serious students and teachers of Theosophy, a spiritual tradition which views Lucifer as one of the solar Angels, those advanced Beings Who Theosophy says descended (thus “the fall”) from Venus to our planet eons ago to bring the principle of mind to what was then animal-man. In the theosophical perspective, the descent of these solar Angels was not a fall into sin or disgrace but rather an act of great sacrifice, as is suggested in the name “Lucifer” which means light-bearer.

http://www.lucistrust.org/en/arcane_school/talks_and_articles/the_esoteric_meaning_of_lucifer

The "spiritual" belief behind the emerging global religion is in Lucifer, the Light Bringer. As I recently learned from our WISE local leaders at School of the Earth, Lucifer is really not as "bad" as the Muslims, orthodox Christians and pre-Vatican Catholics would like us to believe. The real "experts" on our spiritual development know that our clinging to outdated religions and beliefs is a barrier to advanced human social evolution. They want us to stop thinking Satan is a conjurer and a liar too.

We must all be re-educated to regard Lucifer's disgrace and fall from Heaven as a "sacrifice" akin to what Jesus sacrificed. An enlightened citizenry is the only way we can achieve our common destiny in 2020. This is the common purpose behind Common Purpose in the UK. This is the "spirit of community" Communitarian Network guru Amitai Etzioni brought to the United States in 1959.

This is the standard for Free Trade agreements like the EU and the WTO. This is the belief system required under UN Local Agenda 21. This is the harmonization of all religions, immediately applicable in all UN member nations, and the basis for international environmental law. The problem is, the Americans and the Arab world refuse to accept the new norms. This is why some countries in Middle East must be taught such a harsh lesson. This is why American "Public education programs are concentrating on new educational standards."

In order to have a global system that operates on Utopian standards and norms, everyone on the planet must be made to think as one. If one person out there thinks of themselves as one person, then the Plan cannot reach its final stage. To refuse to worship at the alter of Lucifer is to become the cause of all mankind's sufferings. The penalty for worshiping false idols is death.

“Preparation too must be given to the developing of higher psychic powers...Hospitals and schools will appear under the direct guidance of the Masters; Teachers... will train the minds of the pupils to be responsive to direct inspiration from above. ”

+++++

School of the Earth: The human endeavor on Planet Earth has arrived at a grave state of crisis, a perilous condition that threatens civilization and the very survival of many species, including humans. The crisis is multi-faceted, involving not only environmental concerns, but also social, economic, and spiritual issues. Finding solutions may at times challenge our own sense of who we are and how we should live. Time is short. Actions taken in the near future will have consequences, for good or ill, that color the fate of distant generations.
.
Hope lies in many places, but ultimately in human hearts and minds. As we grow in understanding and appreciation for the challenges we face, so will our actions grow to better meet those challenges. Intriguingly, this process leads not only to responsible global citizenship, but also to human fulfillment and happiness. With our back against the wall, the actions forced upon us for survival seem to push us to a state of maturity recommended in ages past by the wisest and most far-sighted amongst us. By rising to meet the challenge of our times, we, who live in this age of darkness and light, may claim the light for ourselves and for all those who follow, into the far centuries. {emphasis added}

ACTIVITIES

The activities of the Lucis Trust include the worldwide financial support of the Arcane School, the Lucis Publishing Companies, World Goodwill, Triangles, Lucis Trust Librarles and Lucis Productions.

THE ARCANE SCHOOL

The Arcane School was created by Alice A. Bailey in 1923 as a training school for adult men and women in meditation techniques and the development of spiritual potentiality. The School provides sequential courses of study and meditation, and practical training in group service.

The Arcane School is conducted by correspondence in eight languages through headquarters in New York, London, and Geneva.

The Arcane School is nonpolitical and nonsectarian. All are served. Since 1923 tens of thousands of students have taken advantage of the training.

No charges are made by the School for its services. The work is financed through the Lucis Trust by the voluntary contributions of students and those interested in the work of the School and in the teaching. Each gives according to personal circumstances.

LENDING LIBRARIES

The Lucis Trust maintains lending librarles of esoteric and occult books covering a wide variety of classifications. The librarles are maintained by voluntary donations only; books may be borrowed by mail.

THE LUCIS PUBLISHING COMPANIES

A new and better way of life for all people everywhere in the world can become a reality in our tirase. Practical techniques in operation today can be learned and applied to the fulfilment of the divine plan for humanity.

Units of Service

A group of people of goodwill, unifying their efforts and guided by a common purpose, can have an effect on their environment far out of proportion to their numerical strength.

Purpose

Formation

Activities

Purpose

A unit of service is composed of individuals who share a common vision, and recognise their responsibility in bringing about a future based on spiritual values and principles. By harmonising their efforts, they blend their understanding and activity into a definite group service to humanity.

Practical, effective service by groups is the most important single factor in humanity’s effort to create a new and more just civilization. Today, the number of active groups and non-governmental organisations is flourishing. Their presence, and the scope of their work, are being firmly established in human consciousness through the media and the Internet.

Many of these outer groups have an inner link with the new group of world servers, a subjective network of people of goodwill who work in every branch of human enterprise and who share a common vision of the unity, inter-relationship and inter-dependence between nations and peoples.

Units of service are drawn from the new group of world servers and are developing new modes of service through their responsiveness to the spiritual needs of the time, learning in the process the difficult lessons of selfless group activity. These groups are meeting world need through local enterprise demonstrating the well-known maxim “Think globally, act locally”. If care over the essential of service—soul contact—is taken, then the service rendered will flow spontaneously and effectively along the right lines. It is perhaps the ability to meet the spiritual needs of communities within which they work which constitutes the greatest contribution units of service make to the emerging age.

Formation

There is no rush, no hurry. And yet there is no time to lose.

Service begins where we are, and the formation of a unit of service is an organic process. When an individual is inspired by the vision of selfless service to the Whole, then the seed for a unit of service takes root. Over time, as the vision of service deepens, the new server will naturally be inclined to share this with others, and a group may begin to emerge.* As others are magnetically attracted, the capacity for useful service expands, with each member contributing dynamic qualities to the group life. With one or more dedicated servers at the heart of the group, its stability and growth are assured. Small beginnings, and slow, careful growth from this core helps to anchor the group’s vision and work.

The key to success lies in a unity of purpose, which flows from a dedication to serving humanity and a spirit of cooperation, group love and group consciousness. When this inner focus is present, all personality divisions and frictions can be set aside. One of the most effective ways to create and maintain this focus is through group meditation.

* World Goodwill and Triangles are always pleased to offer advice on how to form groups. And we may be able to put you in touch with a group in your area.

Activities

Each unit of service is a living organism and a dynamic focal point of spiritual energy in the worldwide work. The subjective network of all units of service is anchoring a culture of the soul, and so deepening the inner alignment between the spiritual realms and the human family.

Each unit acts under its own initiative, and there are a number of possibilities to consider and ways in which you can help, such as working with Triangles and World Goodwill; group meditation and visualisation; group study; the distribution of literature electronically, or through the mail; and, organising events that focus on the expression of right human relations and the promotion of goodwill.

Triangles: uses the power of thought and prayer to invoke light and goodwill for all of humanity. The work is done by units of three people linked in a global network.

Headquarters provides literature for distribution to encourage people of goodwill to form triangles of light and love. Also, people can form triangles through the web-based Bulletin Board, found at:
www.lucistrust.org/service_activities/triangles/online

World Goodwill: establishes right relationships through the practical application of the principles of goodwill. Its work is primarily educational and is carried out through its many publications, which are available for distribution. Its home page is: www.worldgoodwill.org

Ways to co-operate include:

  • presenting the principles, publications and programs of these two service initiatives at a local level.
  • publicising the three major Spiritual Festivals of Easter, Wesak, and the Festival of Goodwill. The Festival of Goodwill is also celebrated worldwide as World Invocation Day, a worldwide day of prayer, meditation and invocation.
  • forming triangles of light and goodwill.
  • distributing the Great Invocation, a world prayer.
  • forming study groups on the problems of humanity in order to generate a thoughtform of solution. World Goodwill provides a comprehensive and up-to-date study course, consisting of seven study sets, which are available for download from our website or posting from headquarters.
  • informing the public of the principles and programmes of the United Nations, a major externalised focal point of the energy of goodwill.

Through these projects groups help to release a positive influence into the consciousness of their communities and into the wider world through the energy of goodwill.

Also, many serving groups find that coming together in a group meditation on a regular basis, focused on goodwill and service, is important to the inner strength and unity of the group. By working with spiritual energies and relating them to daily, physical life these groups can help to condition the subjective atmosphere of the planet and create a climate for constructive change in the world and in their communities. Some of the group meditation techniques promoted by World Goodwill are:

  • Goodwill Meditation Group: The purpose of this meditation work is to strengthen and increase goodwill, a powerful and creative energy which can help humanity solve the urgent problems with which it is faced.
  • Twelve Spiritual Festivals: The time of the full moon is a period when spiritual energies are uniquely available and facilitate a closer rapport between humanity and the spiritual Hierarchy. The energies contacted at these twelve spiritual festivals can be grounded at the time of the new moon, which is an opportunity to focus on how the Plan can be manifested; and on the many ways in which the "power of the one Life" and the "love of the one soul" are working out through the servers of the world.
  • Cycle of Conferences: A visualisation initiative using the power of enlightened thought to help create a positive mental climate for conferences taking place on specific world problems.

It is important to recognise the role of units of service as focal points for the flow of spiritual energy and creativity. The relationship with headquarters is one of cooperation and inner alignment. We will be pleased to send further information and assist in any way we can.

The Future

One of the great needs in the world is the relating of group to group in a worldwide network of light and goodwill. As groups recognise their relationships with one another, they will eventually blend and fuse into one great movement of goodwill, which is spirit in actual expression. Today we see this movement arising spontaneously around the world, a spontaneity which is characterised by a lack of central control. What is not needed is any super-organisation attempting to direct and enforce unity. What is needed is a multiplicity of living organisms held loosely together by cooperation, constant communication and an identity of goal and purpose.

Units of service are a vital, living part of such a network of light and goodwill. Through their selfless dedication to the service of humanity, they are truly forerunners of the new age.

For further information on active groups see:
www.lucistrust.org/service_activities/worldwide_network

It is not so much the active outer service of a group of disciples which is of major importance (though it has necessarily a vital purpose) as the coherent, integrated group thought which is so potent in effecting changes in the human consciousness.

"At the top of this new and unique triangle stands the Avatar of Synthesis, whose direct influence is now identifiable in the human consciousness in emerging trends. He is the most potent of the three in relation to mass consciousness at this time. His permeating influence hastens the realisation by humanity that, in fact, we live in one world as one humanity with a common destiny."

This information from Auburn University shows the level of deception:
Bridging the Judeo-Christian Gap. IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN and would like to join a discussion group with other Christians, Howard M. Rollin has established a new list specifically designed for you. At this time, the most important aspect of this discussion group will be your understanding and hopefully your support and promotion of the "NOACHIDE" (the Sons of Noah, B'nai Noach) movement. Throughout history, Orthodox Judaism has controlled this movement, as if it were a part of Judaism. However, on March 26, 1991, U.S. President George Bush signed into law a congressional resolution on the Seven Laws of the Noachide Movement (House Joint Resolution 104, Public Law 102-14). Since Rabbinic Judaism has determined that Christianity is idolatry because of the Christian deification of Jesus, Christians are not allowed to become Noachides. Is this appropriate and/or fair? Christians certainly don't view themselves as idolators. Since there are a growing number of Christian Zionists who do not proselytize Jews because they respect all of the valid covenants of the Hebrew Scriptures, should there be a separate Christian Noachide sect for them? That will be the main thrust of information communicated through this "Yahoo" discussion group. As Lucis Trust website said above, one of their goals is "informing the public of the principles and programmes of the United Nations, a major externalised focal point of the energy of goodwill." On that point it appears we are in total agreement with one another. Although I doubt that qualifies as Luciferian group think, especially since my information asks the reader to think for themselves.

Over the summer I plan to do a few research projects that will hopefully shed light on why the local Chirstian Churches are in full kahoots with the local Luciferians, and why a high level Freemason is the Executive Director of WISE. Our tourist information center at the Wayside in Chitina will have a slightly different slant than the Luciferian Park Service Center up in Copper Center. I will attempt to interview WISE leaders and give them an opportunity to refute my evidence. Unlike the Luciferian adepts at our local newspaper, the Copper River Record, I am still convinced "freedom of the press" was enumerated by the states in 1789 as a barrier to a steady diet of federal (freemason?) propaganda. Back when I was a journalism major in the 80s, equal time was considered essential to fair and accurate reporting. For eleven years I've been soliciting rebuttal comments from Amitai Etzioni and his followers. Maybe his local followers can be prompted to become a more Responsive Community operation. Maybe one of the students attending School of the Earth's summer 2010 class would be willing to share their experience with me. :) And maybe one of the students in that Vassar College Quality of Life Seminar will send me their analysis of our thesis. Or maybe the professor who included our manifesto will.

School of the Earth in Kenny Lake, AK

"When rational and emotional appreciation develops to match reality, individual and collective actions will evolve and grow to meet the needs of that reality. Intriguingly, this process leads not only to responsible global citizenship, but also to human fulfillment and happiness." Dave Wellman, School of the Earth, Kenny Lake, Alaska.
In a recent post I copied a letter I wrote to the editor of the Copper River Record. It was in response to a letter by Dave Wellman, owner of the Wellwood Bed and Breakfast. Insulted by his tone and use of newspeak to lecture us, I reacted the same way I have all my life (I wrote my first letter to the editor when I was 12 years old, to the Renton Record Chronicle.)

Today I'm updating Camp Redington's website with our hostel/museum/showers info and did a keyword search for lodging in Kenny Lake. This led me to Wellman's website where I learned he is hosting a school program next month, called School of the Earth. Tim came by while I was reading it so I read the following passage to him and then asked him if he understood any of it. He replied, "No, but I understand he thinks we should all do things his way from now on."

Mr. Wellman is a retired teacher. Can anyone guess which college he attended? Should it be of any interest to us that Wellwood Center is also a Baha'i religious school?

What does it take to "build a vibrant human civilization on a healthy planet?" Rebuilding Community was announced by G.W. Bush as the number 2 priority in the War on Terror (Bush's State of the Union Address, Jan 30, 2002. The War on Iraq is also called Rebuilding Iraq, and the American/Israeli controlled infrastructure is entirely communitarian im make-up.)

What does it mean to "play a part in the emergence of a mature society?" {boldface mine}

The insinuation that Americans and Iraqis live in an immature, unevolved society is made clear throughout all communitarian writings. Communitarian Network founder Amitai Etzioni came here from Israel to "shore up" our outdated morality, political system, and social structure because, according to him, our people have too many selfish, childish expectations.

The bottom line to all benevolent communitarian assistance is, in their own words, to "discover opportunities for restoration of the planet and revitalization of civilization." This whole "Save the Planet" and "Exporting Democracy" movement, shrouded as it all is in lofty spiritual claims, is nothing more than a massive scam to steal private land, and everything and everyone on it.

U.S. constitutional law is based ENTIRELY in the right to own private property. (What was the Iraqi constitution of 1915 based upon?) Protecting individual rights to own property is the only basis for our liberties. We own ourselves and everything we have as a result of our honest labors. Our right to retain our private information is based in the American principles for ownership. Our law, both criminal and civil, is based entirely in DAMAGES to property. This means that if the globalists can steal our land, then our national and state law no longer exists.

Global Communitarians think we should all place our faith in their values without knowing what they are (ask the Irish about that!), and that we should be taught to voluntarily hand over our land and lives for their safekeeping. To disagree means we are unevolved and immature.

They have a very appealing program for easily corruptible people motivated by greed, sloth and envy. Alaskan eco-tourists and their local servants (mostly imported international youth) are telling Alaskans how to live. Are Alaskans listening?

The evidence overwhelmingly proves that "collective actions" such as this "school" teaches are ALWAYS organized and promoted by control freaks who have an underlying communitarian agenda. There is absolutely zero scientific evidence that societies evolve. The Idea that societies DO evolve is based entirely in Hegel's ideal of the state becoming AS GOD. That's what it really means to claim "the light for ourselves." http://www.sotearth.com/Why.htm
The human endeavor on Planet Earth has arrived at a grave state of crisis, a perilous condition that threatens civilization and the very survival of many species, including humans. The crisis is multi-faceted, involving not only environmental concerns, but also social, economic, and spiritual isssues. Finding solutions may at times challenge our own sense of who we are and how we should live. Time is short. Actions taken in the near future will have consequences, for good or ill, that color the fate of distant generations.
.
Hope lies in many places, but ultimately in human hearts and minds. When rational and emotional appreciation develops to match reality, individual and collective actions will evolve and grow to meet the needs of that reality. Intriguingly, this process leads not only to responsible global citizenship, but also to human fulfillment and happiness. With our back against the wall, the actions forced upon us for survival seem to push us to a state of maturity recommended in ages past by the wisest and most far-sighted amongst us. By rising to meet the challenge of our times, we, who live in this age of darkness and light, may claim the light for ourselves and for all those who follow, into the far centuries.
.
School of the Earth, by providing education, motivation, and support for constructive action, can play a part in the emergence of a mature society, capable of creating and maintaining a vibrant civilization on a healthy planet.

On Wellman's "What?" page we find the curriculum:

Join us in a 5-day, roll-up-your-sleeves, feet-on-the-ground program in which we explore the big issues related to building a vibrant human civilization on a healthy planet:
investigate solutions linked to long-term revitalization of civilization
identify factors essential for a home planet that is vital and alive
search for common threads that suggest a unified approach to different problems
explore the natural environment and find a deeper sense of acquaintanceship with Earth
appraise the broad universe and gain perspective, wonder, and renewed commitment
.
School of the Earth provides an upbeat, encouraging, informal setting for addressing these weighty themes. Thinkers with recognized expertise in relevant topics address School of the Earth participants via videoconference, contributing world-class knowledge and ideas. Group discussions, wilderness excursions, and other activities provide opportunities for both great fun and challenging learning.
.
During School of the Earth each participant will:
acquire a broader and deeper understanding of the planetary crisis
discover opportunities for restoration of the planet and revitalization of civilization
participate in a hands-on service project chosen by the group
develop a personal plan for future action
gain a support group to provide continuing assistance and encouragement
.
Optional college credit may be available.
So how about that? You can get "college credit" for one of these Earth seminars which are based in Hegelian "logic," but we can't find one school in the entire world that will give us "college credit" for successfully rebutting Hegel and everything based in his phony ideology.

On the "Who?" page we learn the Wellmans "have been primarily involved in project development." Hmm... what kinds of development projects? Sustainable and Community development that "leads to responsible global citizenship?" What's the odds the Wellmans support Local Agenda 21? I wonder how they feel about not being a designated Scenic ByWay.

The only genuine "peril" we face as a nation is a communitarian takeover. Shhhhh.

I'm thinking about challenging Dave Wellman to a public debate at the Kenny Lake Community Hall. I probably could pass out an ACL flyer at the fair to help get the interest going. Then I could plan an anti communitarian seminar and offer a "balanced" curriculum to their school. I could find immense fulfillment and happiness in that.

On another note, here's a blog discussing communitarian and libertarian similarities:
