Common Purpose UK Mindmap

John at Stop Common Purpose made a fantastic tool that explains a LOT:

This mindmap is such a good presentation I may borrow the format for the new ACL. Thanks John! Great job!

The International Journal of Neighbourhood Renewal

clear days mean cold nights

Mt Wrangell peeking out behind gertee

revised platform bed with new shower!

We're having a gorgeous spring in Kenny Lake this year. I got a little ahead of myself when I put my sleeping bag in the wash and store pile though. After two nights of freezing and thrashing about and finally dragging myself awake to start a fire and get the house above 20 degrees, I dug my dirty, smelly down sleeping bag out of the laundry pile and slept like a baby last night. It's so lovely in my gertee now I almost forget I'm still camping in sub zero temps, until early morning comes and it always reminds me. Got another cord of wood delivered which means I can burn hot fires and make use of the new shower set-up I built in the living area. Put it right next to my bed where the coat/winter gear closet was. Pure luxury and I really don't mind having all the nice smelling soaps and lotions near my head while I sleep. With a steady water source I could take a bath every night!

Still having lots of trouble with my browsers but sometimes, like today, super slow but it works well enough to blog. facebook barely loads. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/sns-ap-us-feds-on-facebook,0,6183802.story

So here's the link that's the title of this post:
http://www.neighbourhoodjournal.com/index.html

"We provide training and development services for a range of organisations in the field of evaluation, appraisal, programme management, project development and strategy development. Training is provided at over 40 locations across the UK and Ireland and is also available for in house training if required. "

Somehow I'm on their email list and now I get these updates from them. So today since my browser is working so well I opened their link and poked around their site. Not much there... not much at all... just dates and times where they'll be around England and Ireland training facilitators to evaluate and manage local people. No link to Common Purpose but it's hard to imagine they're not affiliates of this. John?

Been thinking a lot about new articles I'd like to write, and one about neighborhood groups and councils keeps popping up in my brain. Everything at the ACL that deals with these local yokel groups was written in 2000 when I was a pilot test subject under their communiy policing programme. My perspective has changed a wee bit since then and I'm no longer begging them for explanations and definitions of their terms. I know what neighbourhood renewal is today. I know what strategy development is too.

I'm thinking it might be a big ol' hoot to call myself the Kenny Lake Chitina Development Association. I have been working in neighborhood economic revitalization since I got here four and a half years ago and made the deal to build Tim and Lorayne's website in exchange for a campsite with electric at Camp Redington (called R's RV Park then). I fulfilled the plans for a community website which was part of Copper River Development Association's master plan for my community. I've made local fun maps and promoted local businesses online via all my gertee projects and somewhat through the ACL. I can claim to have the best interests of the community at heart, because my record here shows I do. I am just another unelected, self proclaimed development "expert" in what my community "needs." uh huh.

And I didn't give BJ (owner of Pippen Lake Gifts) any trouble when she showed up last Sunday to do the 2010 Census like we were old best friends (we've never met). She accidentally dropped some computer labled readouts of our personally identifiable information. I helped her pick them up and saw names alonside a bar code and a bunch of other codes that I'd be interested in knowing what they were. When I asked where was my address in this new census "short version", she assured me the feds didn't need my actual address since she was making a small dot on the GIS map she was carrying that identified my exact geographical location. I agreed to answer the questions if she placed my dot in an unpopulated, inaccessible roadless area of the map. Oh no worries she said, the ONLY purpose of all that personally identifiable information was to make sure Alaska gets another US Congressman! When I told her I am a political researcher, she said she knew that. hmm. Wonder what else BJ "knows" about me.

As I plod through my chores and spring cleaning my mind drifts to articles I wish I had time to work on. I really want to write something about the Madonna-whore dialectic and the influence it's had on my entire life. I think less about research and validating my position anymore, and more about how many ways the communitarian dialectic has affected my life and the lives of everyone I've ever met. I've also started singing, stretching, dancing and walking, my way of respecting the needs of my aging body. The harsh environment has made me leaner and much, much stronger but if I don't make time to stretch and relax too I will become all hunched over and crippled. Etzioni made me hate the word "balance" because of the way he uses it to destroy freedom, but I have to get over that now. I need balance between my hard core writing and my hard core lifestyle, the need is real and it's always been real. Etzioni didn't coin the term and he doesn't own it, just as the many other words he co-opted for communitarianism and changed the meanings of. He used the word "spirit" in his book title The Spirit of Community and I've avoided using that term too. Most everyone knows how I see/use the word "community".. heh.

The gertee book is coming along, especially now that I can barely get online! heh. We've worked out the PVC yurt design and Tim went to town and bought enough pipe to make 2, 16 footers! He's thinking the PVC gertee may actually be stronger than the wood. I designed it to all fit in a max 4' long box for shipping and easy carrying, but I may need to modify the lengths because the pipe all comes in 10 foot pieces. Adding the specs to the tutorial after we build it and test it in the spring winds. Thinking of ways to cover interior plastic and how to hold the materials up. I want to make one of them my greenhouse this summer and the other into a cute little guest house. Tim thinks I should sell them. :)

Obama trumpets Asia trip as boost to US economy

"Repeating a theme he used abroad, Obama told the U.S. audience that the discussions directly affect U.S. national security."

Here's another one from Consuelo, and it's even more interesting now that angrycheese has identified the role Communitarian authority Henry Tam from Singapore plays in the emerging global synthesis. It's also relevant to what my sister Susan was telling me yesterday what she's observing in Boise, Idaho where she lives. She told me the layoffs keep coming and people are scared. We talked about how many have already or will resort to underhandedness on the job to keep their positions. She guesses Boise's unemployment has reached 20% because she includes all the people not officially on unemployment. She works for a major corporation that a year ago supported over 200,000 people; now that number has swiftly decreased, with something like 130,000 jobs left (I forget the exact numbers).

It was the communist leaders who lamented on the equilibrium between industry and agriculture that kept America so strong. Lenin insisted American manufacturing had to suffer severe blows before global communism could become a reality. And so it has. Modern Americans are to depend on communist China to bring back American jobs.... how's that for a communitarian synthesis between communism and capitalism?

The Chinese government is the United States' biggest foreign creditor with $800 billion of federal U.S. debt, which gives it extraordinary power in the relationship. And Beijing feels the global recession, sparked by U.S. financial industry excesses, vindicates its authoritarian leadership.

Obama told Americans that there can be no solutions to climate change or energy without the cooperation of Asian and Pacific nations. Repeating a theme he used abroad, Obama told the U.S. audience that the discussions directly affect U.S. national security.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091121/ap_on_bi_ge/us_obama_jobs
Obama's NOT lying when he says his trips directly affect American security. What he doesn't say is his trade plans with China, Russia, Israel, South America and the widely accepted "model" Communitarian EU will help the Communitarian globalists to eliminate our national sovereignty, which most definitely affects our national security. Obama's not saying he's going to help restore America's manufacturing and agricultural base, nor does he promise to restore small businesses to their proper place in a free society. He calls for greater cooperation with communists... says if we buy more slave made goods our economy can recover.

Years ago Nordica opined that the real NWO leaders were Chinese women playing ma jong (sp?). We both agreed that it makes perfect sense that the power behind communitarianism would be content to remain unseen. We decided anyone we could identify was not at the top, because the real top is content to let the negative attention fall on their most obvious agents (like the Rothschilds, Bilderbergs, Rockefellers etc) and all their most visable authoritarian programs.

Added a video of Henry Tam cheese sent me, can't watch it on my dialup, but it's a perfect example of the Communitarians ability to LIE. This video, titled

Innovations in Participation: Citizen Engagement in Deliberative Democracy

allows no citizen comments, no citizen ratings, and no citizen video responses. That's Deliberative Democracy in a nutshell. Community Empowerment does not actually mean empowering the indviduals who reside and do business in the community. It empowers the Community Developers, who are Harvardly endowed with great unreported powers over individuals.
AshInstitute
Democratic governance depends on citizen participation to mitigate corruption, harness public energy, and remain responsive to community needs. Citizen activism can be a productive check on the expansion of special interests as the public determines where its government's priorities should lie. Both in developing and developed countries, innovators continue to explore a range of strategies engaging communities to deliver social services, defuse conflict, improve public sector accountability, and raise public opinion about quality of governance. This panel examined several such innovations to consider new ways to engage citizens in building fair and effective government.

Common Purpose Philosophy in the London Patriot

This post includes a great quote that calls communitarianism "the tyranny of popularity".

http://www.londonpatriot.org/2009/10/24/common-purpose-philosophy-communitarianism/

COMMON PURPOSE PHILOSOPHY – COMMUNITARIANISM

European Union Collective of Communist Purpose EUCCPCommon Purpose is part of the New World Order and sustainable development movement. The main objective of Common Purpose is social control in a collectivist and corporatist society.

The philosophy behind Common Purpose is a strange mixture of Capitalism and Communism called Communitarianism.

Communitarianism – which is difficult to pin down – is a type of Neo-Communism that owes some of its ideas to Gramsci and the Fabians. When Tony B Liar talked about the ‘Third Way’, he meant Communitarianism.

Communitarianism is a “Big Brother knows best” type of philosophy.

Barack Obama is a Fabian Communitarian, although you will not have heard him use the term during his election campaign. Americans will get a shock when the truth of his hidden agenda becomes known and they find out his real intentions. Bear in mind that Obama is simply a front-man for the New World Order Communitarians.

Communitarians want to create a post-modern, post-democratic feudal society run by a small number of rich and powerful people with everyone else working as peasants. In order to achieve their objectives they must destroy the middle class and the nation state.

These links will explain more about this evil and dictatorial philosophy:

For up-to-date news and discussion about Communitarianism, see Niki Raapana’s excellent analysis.

For an excellent overview of what is going on, see The EU Communitarian Agenda and The New Feudalists.

Slightly OT, here is sound advice from someone who understands the economics of what is going on (also from a US perspective): Europac (Peter Schiff).

Quotes

“In a communitarian society, which is inherently coercive, it isn’t just the majority view that prevails and becomes policy, the majority view is the only one which can be spoken, the only one which can be even heard.”
Medawar

“Communitarianism is a collectivist philosophy that explicitly rejects individualism.”
Black Crayon

“…ideology of ‘civic society’ (or communitarism), which is nothing less than one version of post-Marxist collectivism which wants privileges for organized groups, and in consequence, a refeudalization of society.”
Vaclav Klaus

“In general communitarians emphasize society rather than the individual and believe that group responsibilities (to family, community, nation, the globe) should trump individual rights.”
Libertarians vs. Communitarians

“Communitarianism is not about ‘the common good’. It’s about power and the absolute and dictatorial control of money and people – nothing more and nothing less.”
Communitarianism – the dictatorship of everything

“The communitarians work behind the scenes. Élite communitarian ‘thinkers’ quietly slide their new laws inside projects and programs few regular folks will think (or dare) to question. And, just so you won’t look any closer, (or open your mouth to ask one dumb question) the communitarians mask their fascist programs behind all kinds of lovely phrasing. The new phrases work so well that if you do speak up with a debateable question, it means you don’t want to live in a ’safe and healthy community.’ And since everyone has to agree in order to reach communitarian consensus, you will be shunned and excluded from the decision making ‘councils’ that control the new districts. Go ahead and try, but the shifty communitarians will NEVER debate you because their programs are based entirely in a lie called communism.”
The Anti-Communitarian League (ACL)

“We are witnessing a seizure and redirection of power through legitimate means. This is not a dictatorship but something more complex: the tyranny of popularity.”
Utopian Delusions – Communitarianism

“There has been very little systematic criticism of ideological communitarianism, if only because its exact premises and policy consequences are difficult to pin down. Those wary of it tend to be individualist thinkers who worry that self-described communitarians are actually stealth collectivists; or, more plausibly, that the main effect of well-intentioned communitarian rhetoric is to provide cover for collectivists with a much farther-reaching and harsher agenda than the communitarians intend.”
Wikipedia – Communitarianism

“The Communitarian pitch to balance rights and responsibilities thus masks an attempt to shift the basic nature of rights and responsibilities from individuals to the community, i.e. to the state.”
Rights, Responsibilities, and Communitarianism

“The cult television series ‘The Prisoner’ tells the story of a man who, after losing and then regaining consciousness, opens the blinds of his London flat to find that the world outside has undergone a Kafkaesque transformation: the skyscrapers and city streets visible from his window have been replaced with a small and serene village. (2) Accompanying this stark change in his external environment is a sharp decrease in his freedom. Whereas his life in London was his own, he discovers upon venturing out into the village (3) that his decisions and actions are now community property. He is watched everywhere he goes both by neighbors and hidden cameras. (4) He is expected to be an enthusiastic participant in all communal events, and is ostracized as ‘unmutual’ when he instead seeks out privacy and seclusion. (5) The town’s authorities are intent on ensuring that residents cannot opt out of village life: quaint taxis transport people within the village, but never outside of it; phone service is strictly local; maps at the village store show nothing beyond the community’s boundaries. (6) Each showing of independence or defiance by the protagonist brings strong pressure from the authorities to fully account for (and recant) his actions. (7) In short, his familiar urban life is replaced with a communitarian dystopia, hostile to privacy and deeply suspicious of every act of individuality.”

Common Purpose in the UK, continued

This is part of an email exchange with Martin from England. He does a great job of describing the nature of communitarian governance. In England it's known as Common Purpose.

Dear Niki,

Thank you for your reply concerning the 'Communitarians'.

The same structures and mechanisms exist here in England, although with different names. They share the same insidious, clandestine sub-agendas and have the same goals. As where you live, people's lives are badly affected.

Social engineering and mind manipulation are the tools of the evangelicals. As such they are the ideal, ready-made tools for exploiting the people. In addition, radicalising faiths have been infiltrated as part of the wider government remit of Control or Destroy, where the assumption is that anything that resists the government agenda must be an enemy.

In the UK, faith-based organisations that toe the party line are rewarded with grant money, control of social re-engineering projects, and given much public hubris and kudos. There is no benefit to the people, of course, and much of the money goes missing along the line.

What I have found particularly disturbing is that, whatever religion is used to impose government will, the practitioners ( aka puppets ) discard all the benelovent tenets of their respective faiths and change from being genuine, happy, nice people to hypocritical, cruel and disturbed people. Yet, even though such puppets are expendable, they still follow the cash.

I am not talking about small amounts of money here, the erstwhile hidden agenda costs literally billions to set up, maintain and deliver. In the UK the 'project' is dependent upon fraud and corruption for its finances.

At the set-up phases of these multi-million pound community plans local 'leaders' are selected to represent that community, and then formed into a group that is falsely given representative status so as to exert influence, interest and control far beyond any legitmacy. The churches participate in this deception, although the common purpose beind the selection process is top-down control.

What is happening is the creation and maintenance of an illusion of citizen participation and democracy, whilst central control is ever-strengthened. This does not come cheap.

The reason that I was asking about the Mormons in particular is becasue they have upped their game recently in the UK, at least locally. This is not something sinister when taken in isolation. However, when taken in the context of where they are targeting, who they are targeting, the timing of their targeting, and the local demographics, it would make sense to employ the services of a group that trains its followers in persuasion techniques.

The religion part becomes an irrelevance. The areas chosen are where vast sums of 'regeneration'money are targeted. In the UK, this means that poor people are moved out of otherwise nice areas for developers to turn the land into exclusive estates for the rich. The people being targeted are those who would most likely to oppose the agenda, i.e. those disaffected and disappointed, who would later become a problem. What we are seeing is that, as part of a wider agenda, the government is contracting the expert services of the faiths to deliver social control - and if they collect any converts, that would be a bonus.

The 'faith industry' is not the only delivery sector, the 'charity' and 'community' sectors have been similarly hijacked.

An as yet unnamed elite, lawless organisation is actually running the country by stealth, in effect a silent insurrection from within. The control must be total, absolute, and lead top-down from the centre. What and who cannot be controlled must be destroyed by nulabor.

Meanwhile, it is daily reported how our leaders lie, cheat, steal, bully and abuse, yet there is a reticence - for fear of retribution - to using the appropriate description - institutionalised corruption - that has repeatedly, relentlessly, ruthlessly, systematically and cynically destroyed the lives of anyone arbitrarily deemed to be a potential threat.

This nulabor government is corrupt. The nulabor corruption is absolute, lead from the top down, imposed through all tiers of social and government control, down to street level. Being rotten to the core and from the core, everything it touches it taints. Having neither the ability nor inclination to correct itself, outside intervention is indicated.

In effect, the government has decalred war upon its citizens. The country's rulers have become the enemy of the state. Although it was several hundred years ago that this situation last arose in England, it would appear that the bloody lesson has not been learned - or perhaps it has, hence the need for secrecy and absolute control.

The unnamed elite is sometimes referred to as 'Common Purpose' - a UK-created tool that now extends to a pan-european platform. I believe that 'Common Purpose', in its turn, is controlled by a higher elite. Please let me know if you would like details of this group, as I am sure that we will find many points of synergy.

You are so right to mention about communication being vital. In the UK, control of the flow of information has been a priority for the elite cadre that is really running the country whilst bypassing government institutions and the judiciary. The same principle of Control or Destory applies, where those involved with simply telling the truth are branded as traitors, seditious, insurrectionists, dangerous, etc. Locally at least, indepedent publications were either targeted for control, sabotaged, or swamped with local government propaganda. Even groups of people simply talking to each other outside of government control results in top-down abuses of participating citizens.

Regards

martin
As one of those involved with telling the truth about the new government here in the free USA, I can verify that we are branded exactly the same way as truthseekers in England. As one of my neighbors (who stops by occassionally to have me do things for her) recently said, "Oh stop it, nothing bad is happening to America, you're just paranoid. Can we talk about something more fun .. like my idea! I want you to write me an application for a government grant." She couldn't understand why I won't help her go after all that "free money." Now I'm being attacked for refusing to help people apply for communitarian funding. This is from the same lady who excitedly told me all about the "new" community cop in Chitina and the new police roadblocks and police stalking going on. I was trying to explain why it's happening when she cut me off. Gee, think I should write her grant proposal? Oh yeah, she needs it for free too, because "idealistic" Americans don't think they have to pay for anything I do for them. As brainwashed global communitarians, my people think I should "help" them because I know how. Each according to his need and all that lofty Marxist crap really means the new right to steal my brain, waste my time and discount the years I spent studying and writing as "boring." I should be using my free time to help the communitarians take over my neighborhood. Oh... okay.

Big Mother Database

Got a nice email from someone who liked my articles at newswithviews who asked me to include Alan Watt cuttingthroughthematrix.com in my list of further reading/listening. So I went to Alan's site and remembered being there before and I'm sure I linked to him somewhere at the ACL. One of his recent shows was a discussion of this amazing revelation by the Imperial government.

Home Office plans to create 'Big brother' database for phones calls, emails and web use
By Andy Bloxham
Last Updated: 7:07AM BST 20/05/2008
The Home Office will create a database to store the details of every phone call made, every email sent and every web page visited by British citizens in the previous year under plans currently under discussion, it has emerged.

The Government wants to create the system to fight terrorism and crime. The police and security services believe it will make it easier to access important data as communications become more complex.

Telecoms firms and internet service providers (ISPs) have already been approached by the Home Office, which would be given customer records if the plans were realised.

The security services and police would then be able to access records for any individual over the previous 12 months by gaining permission through the courts.

More here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1990999/Home-Office-plans-to-create-'Big-brother'-database-for-phones-calls,-emails-and-web-use.html

Here's my favorite line from the article: "The plans will raise concern from data protection and civil liberty campaigners and fuel objections to the perceived rise of a "Big Brother" state."

That's what every article about the emerging database always says. "Raise concern" is a polite way of saying the people who claim to be concerned will file the appropriate papers and make a lot of noise and then all the genuinely concerned folks think their legitimate concerns are being addressed by professional "campaigners." Here's an article that flat out says the British government is planning on using ALL private correspondence to catch criminals (and don't you know there's a lot more things defined as "crimes" these days, includng things like saying or writing the "wrong" things). But it's only a "perceived rise" of the Big Mother state, so... only paranoids or professional complainers perceive it to be thus?

Now add to this growing database all the other information the government collects in the COMPASS program and the Communitarian Community Census and you've got all the evidence the Sanhedrin Court needs to determine what kind of person you are. Remember NO actual crimes (in the usual sense of the word) have to be committed before Big Mother steps in to save the public from you. The communitarians also intervene and "save" people from themselves who have the "POTENTIAL for crime." I used to call Big Mother a high tech soothsayer. All they need to do now is throw in a little pinch of the global religion to give it that final godly, spiritual touch. Like Veronica Jackson, director of the Department of Neighborhoods NATS (a pilot test for COMPASS datagathering operations in Seattle, WA in 1999) said: "Sacrifices have to made for the good of the community." That phrase just rolled off her lying lips... but she couldn't answer one simple question about where that mindset originated.

What's the odds the author of the UK Telegraph article was trained by Common Purpose?

Stop Common Purpose

Bobby Garner at Congregator.net forwarded this amazing chart:

Here's a British site devoted to exposing and stopping Common Purpose:
http://www.stopcp.com/

Nice quote from their homepage:

"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." Winston S Churchill

After I read George Orwell's journals in 1995, I contacted the Winston Churchill archivist in England to see if Churchill kept journals that I could read. The sweet woman who replied said no, he did not, but there is a collection of his personal letters at the museum that she would be happy to allow me access to next time I'm in London.

Almost finished with model gertee. I made 8 inch walls, 2 doors with frames and a loft. I'm trying to build it the same way I build the full scale model, and will cover it with all the same materials. Tim is cutting the wall slats for the 30 foot museum gertee although we don't have all the materials for it yet. Nordica has the office up and running but we're still waiting for the phone!

Common Purpose in the UK

Jeff Rense just sent me a link to an online video:
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=3664960863576873594&q=brian+gerrish&total=26&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=3

My dialup makes Youtube and other videos almost impossible for me. Would someone watch it and give me a summary? Does he mention any names I might be familiar with?

The speaker in the video is Brian Garrish, he's speaking about a group called Common Purpose. Bobby Garner has sent me information about them in the past, trying to find his references in my mail. Anyway, for others who can't download viseos, here's a small 2 page pdf file of an article posted by David Noakes at eutruth.org.uk, a site I recently found, cited in a post about Britain losing its freedom; I then added it to my blog under Local to Global International. http://eutruth.org.uk/cp.pdf

I wonder if any American researchers have identified the U.S. participants involved in changing the U.S. government in preparation for a "post democratic era." This is exactly the kind of information we are including for other countries in 2020. Paul Barnes' Canadian 2020 Perspective will be of great assistance to Canadian readers. Only locals can be this familiar with all the names and organizations operating in their home states. Maybe only locals are interested in knowing all the names... but what Noakes does with this piece is show how obvious the connections are between the people involved in furthering the ultimate goal. Identifying the players is KEY.
